Anime is a form of Japanese cartoon! Unlike the American cartoons anime is not heavily shaded and drawn. Anime consist of a more detailed story line and the usually the art in anime the characters eyes are draw wider and bigger! Anime can be in many categories like love/comedy, romance, action, sci fi, to sports etc. Anime in American is usually dubbed and may be suitable for children eyes while other anime that isn't dubbed and is in its original form may show some violence, nudity, profanity and etc. But NOT all anime that is dub doesn’t contain profanity and other things it is sometimes already child proof!! So America dub anime shows for the fun of it. To teens or young adults this is not big deal but through the eyes of parents young children already see enough violence and sexual things on television and if it is in cartoons than what is left for young children too watch? Of course most anime is in Japan and in Japan there are manga’s and animes for all ages. America are always making bad dubbed versions of animes that goes for tokyo mew mew, Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pichi, Super Gals and anything else! And these animes don’t even contain any nudity or profanity? So why would America dubbed it? Parent’s of America say: "Think of the children!" Well while America is thinking of younger children they sure aren't thinking of teens. I believe that dubbing anime shows are stupid because if parents don't want their children to watch 'bad anime' then change the friggin channel! I mean for teens there are never really any cartoons for in America to enjoy! Everything is basically made child proof! That's probably why anime is so popular on the net and everywhere else because teens get tired of seeing kid rated shows (and boring heavy shaded american art!) that goes for some adults too!
