Hayao Miyazaki was born in Tokyo on January 5, 1941. He has 2 children and his nick name is ‘The Japanese Walt Disney.’ He started his career in 1963 as an animator at the studio Toei Douga. He steadily kept drawing and sharing his new ideas. Miyazaki also draws his own MANGA. His major work he worked on intermittently from 1982 to 1994 while he was busy making his animated films. Hayao Miyazaki is one of Japan’s greatest animation directors. The movie plots, characters, and breathtaking animation art in his films has earned him international renown from critics as well as public respect within Japan, and anime fans love him as well. The Walt Disney Company’s commitment to introduce the films to the rest of the world (America) and it will let more people appreciate the Japanese animation.
Throughout his career, Miyazaki has expressed appreciation and has influenced a variety of people and works. By creating his films he not only created films that will still be known for many years to come, he helped Japanese animation become more popular and another step in showing the world how great it and his movies are. He created several movies on the years, all his movies are: Naussica Valley of the Wind, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Kiki's Delivery Service, Laputa: Castle In The Sky, My Neighbor Totoro, Porco Rosso, Princess Mononoke, and Ponyo On A Cliff.
He created a music film called On Your Mark, and has had two tv shows one called Nandarou and the other Sora Ira No Tane.
